As a member of Birmingham Future, young professionals are given the opportunity to be part of a leading organisation that aims to provide ongoing personal and professional development opportunities.
From meeting like-minded peers at exclusive events with high profile speakers, to becoming a mentor to a Birmingham City University student, there are a number of reasons to sign up.
As a Birmingham Future member, you can:
- Attend exciting and informative events with a member discount (maximum 3 events for non-members with no discount)
- Raise your profile across the city and network with professional peers from across 21 professional services sectors
- Represent your organisation across the city and your industry
- Create and expand your all-important book of contacts
- Take part in a mentoring scheme: become a mentor to a BCU student with ‘Inspiring Futures’ and receive a mentor from Birmingham Forward with ‘Momentum’
- Receive offers from the city’s key retailers, bars, restaurants and businesses with Culture Club
- Help run the organisation by joining one of the committees
- Take part in fantastic initiatives, including BYPY and Graduate Apprentice
- Help promote the city as a leading business city and the ideal place to start and continue a successful career.

There are no restrictions on qualifications or age, but most members are between 24-35 years old. It’s important to us that our membership represents a cross-section of people, bringing their opinions and experiences to the organisation.
