Deputy Chair of Birmingham Future and Chair of Birmingham Young Professional of the Year committee
Darren is deputy chair of Birmingham Future and chair of the Birmingham Young Professional of the Year 2010 committee.
Darren took over as chair of BYPY following the event in June 2009. He has been involved in helping stage the awards for the last four years and was previously a member of the Business Strategy and Constitution committee.
Darren is an associate in the Corporate Finance team at law firm, Cobbetts LLP. He specialises in Private Equity and corporate M&A. Darren acts for venture capitalists, management, vendors and corporate acquirers in a range of mid-market transactions.
In September 2009 Darren will commence a full time year of study at the University of Birmingham, where he will be undertaking a masters in Business Administration (MBA).
