The Future in the Community (FitC) committee was born to help Birmingham Future members interact with the wider Birmingham community via two predominant channels. The first is providing access to volunteering, and the second is by adopting a local charity for our members to support each year. In essence, whilst it might appear simple to get involved, the choice of charities, governing positions, youth programs etc is so vast, how do you know where to start? FitC is your answer and not only does this all look great on your CV, but you will sleep better at night too, knowing you’re helping to make the world a better place one step at a time. Giving something back is important and our support not only provides an opportunity for members to do their bit but it also raises their individual profile, helping to open yet more doors. As we said, there are lots of opportunities, so please get in touch if you would like some advice about where you would be best involved.
